- 1902, ran over and sunk the cargo ship Robert Ingham.
- July 8th 1907, in position 42° 50' N – 50° 31' W, hit iceberg, sustained minor damage.
- WWI declared, ship leaves Hoboken NJ, German navel crew transferred at sea, outfitted with two 80mm guns.
- captures British steamer Indian Prince loaded with cocoa, coffee, sinks her.
- as raids continue, all prisoner-of-war passengers are kept in 1st class, enemy crews are kept in 2nd class accommodations. She captures 14 ships.
